FIVE MATES WITH THE SAME DREAM GIVING IT A RED HOT CRACK

Hailing from the vibrant Wagga Wagga, NSW, Barr-Nun is on the rise, with a fresh EPK on the horizon. Fueled by the iconic Aussie Chiko Rolls and a love for a cold brew, our sound is a nod to the gritty essence of Australian indie rock, drawing inspiration from the likes of Skegss, The Terrys, and Amyl and the Sniffers. Our live gigs are an electrifying showcase of raw energy, aiming to leave every audience member exhilarated.

Beyond the stage, we're all about the camaraderie, cherishing the post-show banter with the legends who support us. Our eclectic crew includes the ever-chatty Joshie Barr, the intellectual Nic Marinac with his impressive beard, the enigmatic Paddy Prest, the AC/DC devotee Lachie Burton, and the crowd-pleaser Joey Skewes. Together, our shared passion for music has woven a tapestry of unbreakable friendship, laughter, and killer tracks.

The origin of Barr-Nun traces back to a school music class, but it was the jam sessions in Paddy's backyard shed—affectionately dubbed the 'sesh shed' and graced by a taxidermied crocodile named Dave—that solidified our bond. These days, our dedication sees us playing so frequently that we keep our gear alive with makeshift fixes, like a kick pedal secured by a dog collar and vocals belted through a party speaker gifted by Presty's neighbor. Adventure and music intertwine in our journey, and we're just getting started.
